Esslinger and our other partners at the city for their commitment to assisting us with this effort. We will continue to do our part on behalf of the hundreds of thousands of customers we move in and out of Edmonton annually, and we’d like to thank Coun. Greyhound is proud to be a part of Edmonton’s corporate landscape, and we want it to be as easy as possible to get customers to and from our terminal. Longer term, we’d like to be part of a transportation hub in Edmonton, bringing together intercity bus, LRT, ETS and other forms of transit. We have 20 to 22 buses arriving and departing daily, a potential source of customers for ETS. One of the proposals we have made would have ETS provide transit along 121 Street. We are pleased to be working with Ward 2 councillor Bev Esslinger and Edmonton Transit System (ETS) officials to explore having our buses stop at the Kingsway terminal on 111 Avenue, as well as discussing other options. We found a pickup and drop-off site downtown to facilitate ease of customer movement, and we currently run a shuttle there twice a day. Greyhound independently tried to address the issue of getting customers to and from the site. We ended up partnering with Via Rail at its site on 121 Street, just west of the old municipal airport lands. This advertisement has not loaded yet, but your article continues below.
